Upcomers rules, by program

Every Upcomers program sets its own profit target, daily loss limit and maximum loss, and the maximum loss is static on some programs and trailing on others. There is no single “Upcomers rule set”, so read the row for the exact program and variant you intend to buy. Figures below come from the official program comparison article, checked 2026-09-14.

What the terms mean

Profit target
The percentage gain on the nominal account size you must reach to pass a phase.
Daily loss limit
The most you may lose within one trading day before the account breaches. Confirm the reset time and whether it measures balance or equity in the official article for your program.
Static maximum loss
A fixed floor calculated from your starting balance. It never moves, so profits give you more room. Phoenix, Ignite and Surge use a static maximum loss.
Trailing (dynamic) maximum loss
A floor that follows your equity upward as you make profit, so the level you must stay above rises. Ash and Thunderbolt use the trailing version across both phases.
Nonstop trailing
Used by the SUPERNOVA, HYPERNOVA and ULTRANOVA formats. It never locks at the initial balance and never freezes, which makes large equity swings riskier than in any other program.
Best-day rule
A consistency check on how much of your total profit came from a single day. The challenge programs apply a 20% soft best-day rule in the funded phase.

Worked illustrations

These are arithmetic illustrations of the published percentages, not offers, predictions or guarantees. Confirm the live rules on your own account before trading.

Illustration: static drawdown, Ignite $100K

Ignite's 6% maximum loss is static, so on a $100,000 nominal account the floor sits at $94,000 and stays there. A 4% daily loss limit means a $4,000 intraday loss ends the day's room. The 5% profit target means reaching $105,000.

Illustration: trailing drawdown, Thunderbolt $100K

Thunderbolt's 6% maximum loss is dynamic. At $100,000 the floor starts at $94,000; if equity reaches $103,000 the floor trails up to about $96,820. Profits therefore tighten the absolute distance back to your starting balance, and the daily limit is 3%.

Funded-phase rules

Across the challenge programs the funded phase adds a 3% maximum single-trade loss, a 20% soft best-day rule and a 1% profit requirement for a payout. Daily drawdown is 3% on Ash and Thunderbolt and 4% on Ignite, Phoenix and Surge; maximum overall loss is 6% on Ash, Thunderbolt, Ignite and Phoenix and 7% on Surge.
